Hulk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pride Opening Theme Music. Runnings is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Cool Runnings. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ladislav Hemsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blow Jimmy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hemsky comes into the arena with Onward to Victory blaring out of the sound system. Jimmy has chosen Take a lick as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Jimmy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hemsky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jimmy throws out the jab.
Jimmy wants to clinch up but Hemsky keeps it at a distance.
Hemsky fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hemsky.
Jimmy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hemsky tries to avoid it but Jimmy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hemsky to the ground. Hemsky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Jimmy avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hemsky lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Blow Jimmy has been cut.
Jimmy with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hemsky to score with a decent uppercut.
Jimmy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hemsky manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jimmy takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jimmy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hemsky moves away.
Hemsky checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hemsky tries a low kick but Jimmy avoids it.
Jimmy looks to land a body kick but Hemsky moved away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hemsky.

Good leg kick by Hemsky there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hemsky tests Jimmy's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jimmy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

That has opened up Blow Jimmy's cut even more.
Ladislav Hemsky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hemsky drops Jimmy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jimmy looks back up at him and smiles so Hemsky waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Jimmy is rocked!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jimmy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hemsky has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hemsky and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Jimmy is still on wobbly legs! Can Hemsky finish him?
Hemsky is looking to slow Jimmy down with leg kicks.
Jimmy seems to have recovered his senses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hemsky lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Hemsky feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jimmy sprawling to the canvas! Jimmy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hemsky finish him?!

The cut above Blow Jimmy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Are you kidding me?! Hemsky ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Jimmy clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
