The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maguire takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Maguire throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Singlet.
Maguire really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Singlet throws a sloppy body shot
and Maguire counters with a left to the body.
Singlet throws a hook to the side of Maguire's head but Maguire sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A telegraphed right hand from Singlet misses the target.
Singlet thows a body shot but no joy.
Maguire throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Singlet stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Maguire stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maguire wants it to stay on the feet.
