Buds throws a nice looking combination but Cogburn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Buds misses with a straight left.
Cogburn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Buds swats away the attempt to clinch by Cogburn.
Cogburn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Buds paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Cogburn has Buds up against the cage in a clinch.
Cogburn lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Cogburn connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Sticky Buds has been cut.
Buds working aggressively here.
Cogburn could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Cava throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sherman's head.
Cava buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cava lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sherman misses with a body shot.
Sherman throws a hook to the side of Cava's head but Cava sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Cava throws a head kick that half lands.
Sherman tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cava uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sherman.
Cava throws a head kick that Sherman semi-blocks.
Cava displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sherman.
Sherman tries to clinch but Cava is having none of it.
Sherman on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Cava throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Dave Sherman has been cut.
Cava ducks under a wild hook from Sherman.
Cava lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Sherman crumples to the floor! Cava milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Turbando moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Turbando's jab looks to have found its range, popping Shields under the eye.

Turbando lands a nice shot that snaps Shields's head back.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shields throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turbando's waist but Turbando gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shields off to one side.
The fighters circle momentarily. Turbando darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Are you kidding me?! Turbando ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Shields clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Ovrut moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Ovrut throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Forrester tries to break the clinch but Ovrut is controlling the position.

Ovrut manages to pull guard.
Forrester tries to free his leg and advance position but Ovrut is retaining full guard.

Ovrut working for a triangle but Forrester defends it easily.
Ovrut trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Forrester has gone for a leg lock! Ovrut slips out almost immediately though and dives into Forrester's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ovrut drops Forrester with a beautiful combination! Forrester stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ovrut is looking for the KO!

It looks like Nathaniel Forrester has been cut.
Forrester lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Ovrut shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Forrester's guard.

Ovrut decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Ovrut tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Forrester manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sloppy strikes from Ovrut. Those never looked like landing.
Ovrut will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ovrut blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Forrester misses with a short punch on the inside.

Ovrut escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Forrester misses with a double jab.
Ovrut shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Forrester as he avoids it easily.
Danga de danga de dang - Ovrut scores with a four punch combination!
Forrester tries to bum rush Ovrut with a series of wild strikes but Ovrut uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Forrester throws a head kick but Ovrut moves out of range.

Ovrut closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ovrut is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Forrester is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ovrut stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Forrester fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ovrut fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Ovrut. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ovrut maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Forrester could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Ovrut has cracked it and Forrester is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Ovrut!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Steak tries to score with a low kick but Peterson moves his leg out of the way.

Peterson slips a jab and a cross from Steak.
Steak swings for the body but Peterson moves out of range.

Peterson throws a leg kick which misses Steak's front leg but catches the back leg as Steak tries to avoid it.
Steak has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Peterson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Steak is out of range and Peterson settles back down.
Peterson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
