The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nevinyrral shoots for a takedown but Pontare saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Nevinyrral. Pontare does a little dance to reset his feet. Pontare scores with a takedown into Nevinyrral's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Nevinyrral looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Pontare looking to pass the guard. Pontare lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pontare stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nevinyrral swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nevinyrral being controlled here, momentarily. Pontare stands and throws Nevinyrral's legs to the side, diving into side control. Pontare prevents Nevinyrral from escaping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nevinyrral is trying to escape the position but Pontare is controlling the position. Nevinyrral tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pontare advances to full mount. Pontare landing strikes, looking to finish! Pontare raining down hammerfists from mount. Nevinyrral is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pontare controlling from the full mount. Nevinyrral tries to reverse the position but Pontare maintains control.

Nevinyrral shoots and misses and Pontare counters by moving into the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nevinyrral trying to control the position but instead, Pontare has worked for underhooks and has pushed Nevinyrral into the cage. Pontare jumps guard.
Pontare on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pontare tries to get out of the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nevinyrral trying to control but Pontare is working from the bottom. Nevinyrral gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Pontare counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Roger Pontare has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcin Nevinyrral. Nevinyrral is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pontare stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pontare works his way into full mount! Pontare controlling the pace for now. Pontare seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nevinyrral for as long as he can get away with. Nevinyrral wants to hold on but Pontare pushes him away.

Nevinyrral really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pontare. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pontare controlling from mount. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Roger Pontare wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Pontare staying out of range there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nevinyrral fails with the takedown and Pontare counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Pontare. Nevinyrral tries to strike from the bottom.
Roger Pontare overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Nevinyrral looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pontare is one step ahead there. Pontare passes into half guard. Nevinyrral makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nevinyrral. Pontare might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pontare passes Nevinyrral's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nevinyrral is in trouble now - Pontare has advanced to mount! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pontare sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Pontare has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee warns Nevinyrral that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flex Legs had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Flex Legs has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barford throws a head kick that misses. Barford throws a head kick that misses. Legs shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Barford manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Legs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barford swivels though and keeps the full guard. Barford wants to stand up but Legs is controlling him. Legs wants to control from the top but Barford keeps moving. Legs pushes down on Barford's leg and manages to get into half guard. Barford tries to kick Legs off but Legs keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Legs tries to pass the half guard into mount. Barford knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Legs is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Legs is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Legs prevents Barford from getting back to his feet. Legs passes Barford's left leg - he's now in half guard. Barford has one foot on Legs's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Legs comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Barford. Barford tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Barford throws a lazy head kick and Legs counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barford looks gassed! Legs is pushing down on Barford's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barford is fighting to maintain full guard but Legs has managed to sneak the leg through. Legs moves into full mount! Barford won't be happy about that! Barford is trying to stand. Legs jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Barford is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Barford and Legs has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Legs prevents Barford from escaping the position. Barford is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Barford on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Legs is working to tighten is grip on Barford's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Barford has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Legs is really squeezing tight and eventually Barford passes out! Legs breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man feints and as Limonov raises his hands in defense, Man changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Man makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Man accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Man throwing strikes from guard but Limonov blocks nicely. Man throwing strikes from guard but Limonov blocks nicely. Eduard Limonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Limonov throws a nice looking combination but Man bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Limonov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Limonov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man looks for a takedown but Limonov sprawls well. Man changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Limonov tries to avoid it but Man manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Limonov to the ground. Limonov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Limonov throws a right and a left that Man avoids nicely. Man just misses with a punch to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Man. Limonov fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Man looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Man has a takedown stuffed. Man throws a body punch but Limonov moves out of range. Limonov throws a hook but Man avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bone on bone clash there as Man blocks the leg kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Limonov. Nice takedown defense from Limonov. No joy for Man on that attempt. A left and a right from Limonov both land. Nice combination. Limonov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Eduard Limonov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Man throws a body punch but Limonov moves out of range. Limonov misses with a low kick. Limonov tries a head kick but it misses.
Man fails with a takedown attempt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Man tries to close the distance and clinch up but Limonov swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nice sprawl there from Limonov as Man shoots in.

Limonov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Limonov throws a sloppy head kick and Man moves out of range easily. Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Man shoots in for a takedown but Limonov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A looping hook to the body misses from Limonov. Man does a little dance to reset his feet. Limonov keeps the fight on the outside. Limonov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Man sees it coming and avoids it easily. Limonov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Limonov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Man moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Man closes this distance looking for a takedown but Limonov circles away. Limonov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Andrews closes the distance and clinches up with Kaiho, looking for a takedown. Andrews pushes Kaiho against the cage but Kaiho circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Andrews shoots in looking for a takedown but Kaiho manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Andrews's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Andrews. That's going to take a lot out of him. Andrews throws a jab but it's blocked by Kaiho. Kaiho shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Andrews eats them both and turns towards Kaiho to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Andrews on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kaiho. Kaiho obviously looking to wear him down.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jasta checks a leg kick. Dostoevsky swings for the body but Jasta moves out of range.
