The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Awesome throws a right hand that Esch ducks under and follows up with a left that Esch also avoids with ease.
Esch uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Awesome.
Awesome lands a glancing blow to the side of Esch's head.
Awesome shoots in looking for a takedown. Esch tries to sprawl out of it but Awesome keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Esch manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Esch closes the distance and pushes Awesome back into the cage.

and Awesome counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Awesome looking to finish!
