The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pon Me looks to land a combination but Ping avoids it well.
Pon Me will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pon Me throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ping scores with a spinning back kick!
Pon Me looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ping darts in and clinches Pon Me up against the cage.

Ping escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ping has closed the distance and engaged Pon Me in a clinch.

Ping tightens his grip and picks Pon Me up, before dumping him to the ground. Pon Me manages to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ping postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Ping scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Ping feints a jab and as Pon Me dips his head, Ping unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Pon Me right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Pon Me falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Ping smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Shuai avoids a punch combination nicely.
Long looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Shuai throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Long tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Shuai is in Long's guard.
Long is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Shuai drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shuai jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
