 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meyer tries a head kick but it misses.
Saint shoots in for a takedown but Meyer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Meyer throws a left and a right that both miss
and Saint counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Meyer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Meyer makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Meyer.
Meyer is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Saint rolls with it to try and escape but Meyer cranks on the arm and Saint is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sho Shinjo! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shinjo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. McArthur keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Shinjo lands a leg kick that knocks McArthur off balance momentarily. Shinjo misses with a wild combination.
Shinjo gets caught flat footed, as McArthur shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. McArthur working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. McArthur not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. McArthur tries to free his leg and advance position but Shinjo is retaining full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Shinjo is trying to control the position from the bottom.
McArthur postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McArthur is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. McArthur content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McArthur accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. McArthur trying to control the position from guard on top but Shinjo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McArthur will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. McArthur landing some decent shots from guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. McArthur stops Shinjo from standing up. McArthur controls from within his opponent's guard. McArthur loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McArthur is stalling in the full guard.
 The ref stands the fighters back up because Mung McArthur just wasn't active enough. McArthur swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Shinjo has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. McArthur throws a left and a right that both miss
and Shinjo counters with an inside leg kick. McArthur throws a series of punches but Shinjo moves out of range. Shinjo throws a hook but McArthur avoids it easily. Shinjo jabs McArthur right on the nose. McArthur blinks but takes it well. Shinjo looks for the body kick but McArthur saw that one coming. Shinjo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McArthur counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McArthur throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shinjo counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. McArthur Rushes Shinjo and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Shinjo is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. McArthur Piles on the pressure and Shinjo crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

Familly is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Plumm is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Plumm has escaped and now he's on top!
Familly has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Plumm should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Familly has tightened it up now! Plumm should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffon shoots in and gets a takedown into Roma's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Griffon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Griffon looking to sit in guard and control but Roma gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Griffon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Roma. Roma trying to control the position from guard on top but Griffon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Roma would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Griffon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Roma on the ground. Roma missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Roma slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Griffon wants to control but Roma postures up. Roma wants to control but Griffon is keeping him busy.
Roma is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Griffon is trying to escape and Roma transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Griffon is forced to tap! Nice work there by Roma! Very nice indeed!

enabling Sakazaki to counter with a crisp jab. Nice sprawl there from Sakazaki as LaRue shoots in. LaRue throws a right and a left that both miss. Sakazaki scores with a hook. LaRue throws a leg kick that is checked and Sakazaki counters with a head kick. LaRue fails with a takedown attempt. Sakazaki uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by LaRue.

Sakazaki jabs LaRue right on the nose. LaRue blinks but takes it well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
LaRue gets tackled into the cage by Sakazaki. Sakazaki maintains the clinch. Sakazaki putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has LaRue in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. LaRue has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. LaRue blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sakazaki is looking to control LaRue's arms but LaRue gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sakazaki has his back to the cage. Sakazaki is pushing LaRue up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. LaRue has Sakazaki pushed against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. LaRue gets through Sakazaki's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A nice right hand lands inside from Sakazaki. LaRue is working for takedown but Sakazaki is calmly controlling the position for now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koko LaRue. That's going to take a lot out of him. LaRue is trying to push Sakazaki away but Sakazaki has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Sakazaki being controlled against the cage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. LaRue blocks a body shot from Sakazaki. Sakazaki lands a good knee to the midsection. LaRue won't want to take too many of those. Sakazaki lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Sakazaki breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sakazaki jabs at LaRue's body. Sakazaki digs a good hook to LaRue's body.
This has been an exciting period of action! A head kick misses from Sakazaki. Sakazaki scores with a push kick. LaRue takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
LaRue on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. LaRue is breathing heavily. LaRue tries to clinch there but Sakazaki circles away.
Sakazaki lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
 It looks like Koko LaRue has been cut. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! LaRue crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sakazaki - the referee stops the clock and LaRue gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sakazaki. LaRue manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sakazaki lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Excellent takedown into side control there by LaRue. Sakazaki pushes LaRue away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, LaRue gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
LaRue decides to take the fight back to the feet. A right-left combo lands from Sakazaki. LaRue fails with a takedown attempt. Sakazaki throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sakazaki lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. LaRue takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Sakazaki lands a nice hook to LaRue's body. LaRue takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Sakazaki scores with a nice body kick.
Ryo Sakazaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sakazaki throws a sloppy head kick and LaRue moves out of range easily. Sakazaki listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Sakazaki throws a sloppy head kick and LaRue moves out of range easily. LaRue tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sakazaki paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sakazaki scores with a jab to the body. Sakazaki is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
LaRue manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sakazaki on his heels. He'll look to pass Sakazaki's guard now, I'm sure. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sakazaki wants to stand but LaRue is controlling the position. LaRue wants to control from the top but Sakazaki keeps moving. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Koko LaRue is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. LaRue throws a sloppy head kick and Sakazaki counters with a three punch combo that has LaRue backing up. LaRue nods at Sakazaki to acknowledge the strikes. LaRue throws a head kick but Sakazaki moves out of range.
Sakazaki lands with a slapping head kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! LaRue moves in looking to clinch but Sakazaki pushes him off. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Sakazaki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. LaRue is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sakazaki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Ryo Sakazaki seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sakazaki thuds a left hand into LaRue's body. Sakazaki tries to clinch but LaRue is having none of it. LaRue tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. LaRue misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sakazaki. LaRue shrugs it off though.
LaRue shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sakazaki napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. LaRue is staying tight to Sakazaki's torso, preventing him from escaping.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Sakazaki can't do much from the bottom here. LaRue is putting a hurting on Sakazaki here, landing some big shots from side control. Sakazaki dodges the ground and pound from LaRue. LaRue misses with the ground and pound. Sakazaki defending against the ground and pound. Sakazaki is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. LaRue has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Sakazaki! LaRue trying to control but Sakazaki is having none of it. Sakazaki holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as LaRue tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. LaRue working the ground and pound effectively.
LaRue sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. LaRue thowing shots but they're missing. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Koko LaRue will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Koko LaRue's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

LaRue has a takedown stuffed. Sakazaki defends well against a solid takedown attempt from LaRue. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koko LaRue. That's going to take a lot out of him. LaRue blocks a head kick by Sakazaki.
Nice straight punches there by Sakazaki. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sakazaki. A head kick from Sakazaki lands but LaRue takes it in his stride. LaRue is looking to clinch. A slapping leg kick lands for Sakazaki.

 Koko LaRue's cut is getting worse. Sakazaki circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! LaRue drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Sakazaki follows LaRue to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Walters with that takedown attempt.
Walters drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rogers looks gassed! Walters controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Walters seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rogers for as long as he can get away with.
Walters is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Walters seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Drago misses with a short punch on the inside. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lang creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Lang wants to break free but Drago has control.
