Maxwell walks straight into a right hand from Romanov - that's dropped him! Romanov jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Maxwell from any more punishment! Maxwell complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Jack shoots in but Junior avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Junior drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Junior jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Junior sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jack's guard.

Junior fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jack sprawls well initially but Junior persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Junior in particular looking to stall.

Junior seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jack does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Junior is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jack is just riding it out for now. Junior eventually gives up the hold.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
Jack is looking for a sweep. Junior is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
