Hoyt Jurgensen told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mononen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Khan misses with a low kick.
Mononen avoids the body shot from Khan.
Khan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mononen's head backwards.
Mononen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Khan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Khan feints and then cracks Mononen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mononen down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters circling a little - Khan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Look low, kick high! Khan uses the oldest trick in the book to send Mononen tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Khan is absolutely delighted - when Mononen wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
