Masdival throws a sloppy head kick and Split moves out of range easily.
Split on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Masdival. Masdival obviously looking to wear him down.
Split looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Masdival pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Split closes the distance and clinches up with Masdival, looking for a takedown. Split pushes Masdival against the cage but Masdival circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Masdival fails to land with a series of punches.
Split shoots in but Masdival avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Split misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Masdival stalks Split and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Split's face. Split staggers backwards, shaken.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bader tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tank has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Tank pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bader has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Tank's lack of action.

Tank throws a strike but Bader avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Tank working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Bader bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tank's guard.

Tank scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Tank doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bader counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Tank is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tank has momentary wrist control but Bader slips an elbow through the middle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tank got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bader has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tank has managed to get both his arms back between Bader's legs - danger averted.

Hank Tank showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bader wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tank keeps working.

Tank is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Tank wants to control but Bader is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bader is landing with some decent strikes but Tank is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Bader lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bader is working for a guillotine from mount but Tank frees his head quite easily.
Bader cracks Tank with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bader has control of Tank's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tank regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Tank is working to get back to half guard.

Bader tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bader misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Bader jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tank manages to avoid the submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Bader has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
