This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Squaretree gets in close and tags Carthew with a short punch that almost sends Carthew to the mat! Oh Carthew is in big trouble! He turns his back on Squaretree, trying to create some distance but Squaretree rushes him, striking wildly and Carthew goes down! The referee tackles Squaretree into the cage to end the fight! Squaretree is one violent man!

Usa misses with a takedown attempt

and Melfred counters with a nice double leg into side control. Usa won't be happy with that.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
You can see the frustration on Usa's face as Melfred controls the position.
Melfred has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Usa!
Usa tries to lock up and control but Melfred gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Usa is wriggling around trying to escape.
Usa bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Roscrow postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
