Boston kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is You're Going Down. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Chico drops his hands for a split second and Boston immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Chico face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Boston follows up with a right hand that knocks Chico into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Hughes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hughes seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hughes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sensei lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nguyen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nguyen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Sensei throws out a loose jab but Nguyen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nguyen on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Nguyen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sensei is looking to slow Nguyen down with leg kicks.
Nguyen tried to score with a low kick but Sensei checks it.
Sensei lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sensei stalks Nguyen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nguyen's face. Nguyen staggers backwards, shaken.

Nguyen leaves his chin hanging out and Sensei seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Nguyen crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tekturo Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Ghengis Khan - Iron Maiden. Archer has chosen American Badass as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tekturo Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Archer!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
