Hawkins shoots in looking for a takedown. Torque tries to sprawl out of it but Hawkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Torque manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hawkins throws a low kick but Torque moves out of range easily.
Torque throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hawkins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hawkins lands in his opponent's guard.

Torque working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hawkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hawkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hawkins drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Torque dives on top into guard.
Hawkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hawkins has control of Torque's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Torque regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Hawkins is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Torque to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Torque shrugs it off.
