The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Linford throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis.
Davis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Linford counters with a nice double leg into side control. Davis won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Linford tries for a kimura but Davis is defending well.
Linford tries to move into full mount but can't pass Davis's legs.

Linford swings around for an armbar but Davis sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Linford's guard.

Linford manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
