 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Wood explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Cote misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wood.
Wood scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Cote throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wood. A head kick by Cote misses and Wood counters with a nice body kick. Wood shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Cote eats them both and turns towards Wood to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
 It looks like James Cote has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Cote throws a leg kick that is checked and Wood counters with a head kick that wobbles Cote - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Wood sends him down. This one is all over!

He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Monica drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luigi Watanabe! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watanabe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Watanabe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Steele throws a predictable looking body shot
and Watanabe counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Watanabe looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Watanabe landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Watanabe not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Watanabe is pressing down on Steele's thigh, looking to free his foot. Steele is holding on for now. Watanabe not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Watanabe trying to pass the guard but Steele defending well. Watanabe is looking to take a break and control but Steele is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Steele is controlling Watanabe's position as best he can from this difficult position.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Steele works his way to full guard. Good work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Watanabe looking to pass the guard. Steele manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Watanabe manages to get himself to full guard.
Steele will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Steele stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Watanabe swivels though and keeps the full guard. Watanabe keeping moving, preventing Steele from controlling successfully.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Steele postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Watanabe is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Steele, into his guard. Watanabe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Watanabe trying to control the position from guard on top but Steele is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Watanabe postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Steele trying to control the position.

Steele jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle�. Ooooh, that looks tight� Watanabe is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Watanabe and Steele has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Watanabe is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Steele wants to control but Watanabe is keeping him busy.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Watanabe is trying to get back to his feet. Watanabe really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steele. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Steele tries to advance to mount but Watanabe denies him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Steele is looking to take a break and control but Watanabe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Watanabe lands with a kick to the ribs.

Watanabe decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Watanabe tries to pass to full mount but Steele defends it. Watanabe sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Steele defending well though. Steele won't allow Watanabe to pass to mount. Watanabe moves into full mount! Steele won't be happy about that! Watanabe dominating with strikes here. Steele tries to reverse the position but Watanabe maintains control. Watanabe is landing with some decent strikes but Steele is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. A nice elbow there by Watanabe. Watanabe lands a nice shot to the head. Watanabe raining down shots from the mount!
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Steele taking shots to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Steele taking shots to the head. Steele is trying to escape the mount.

Watanabe is landing with some decent strikes but Steele is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Watanabe raining down hammerfists from mount. Watanabe misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Watanabe throws a combination that misses and Steele counters with a one-two to the body. Watanabe throws a left and a right that both miss
and Steele counters with a nice uppercut. Watanabe misses with an uppercut
and Steele counters with a three punch combo that has Watanabe backing up. Watanabe nods at Steele to acknowledge the strikes. Watanabe misses with a double jab
and Steele counters with a straight right hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Steele bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Watanabe's head. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Luigi Watanabe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Steele's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Watanabe throws a combination that misses and Steele connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Logan Steele seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steele throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Watanabe.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Watanabe ducks under a wild hook from Steele. Steele lands with a nice combination. Watanabe backs away looking to recover. Watanabe looks to land a body kick but Steele moved away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Steele scores with a jab to the jaw. Steele is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Watanabe misses with an attempted mid kick.

Mondo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mondo closes the distance looking to clinch and Puckerman counters with a leg kick. Mondo throws a head kick but Puckerman moves out of range.
Puckerman lands a left and a right that send Mondo crashing to the mat, dazed. Puckerman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
 It looks like Mondoisabuttface Mondo has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! An inside leg kick lands from Puckerman. Mondo is breathing heavily. Puckerman drops Mondo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Mondo! Puckerman dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tick misses with a head kick.
Tick throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Tick stuffs the takedown. Tick fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Vonstein checks it well. Vonstein fails with a takedown attempt. Tick scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Vonstein takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Tick scores with a head kick. Vonstein tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Tick attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Tick turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Tick fakes the leg kick and cracks Vonstein in the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Vonstein takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

 That's one minute gone in the round. That kick from Tick tenderised Vonstein's leg. Vonstein is trying to keep his angry face on. Vonstein looks gassed! Tick connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Tick fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vonstein has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Tick moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Tick misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tick connects with a body shot. Tick lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Tick throws a nice inside leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Vonstein has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tick. Tick throws a head kick that half lands.
Vonstein has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tick. Vonstein chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tick can pounce on him.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Tick throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

 It looks like Drako Vonstein has been cut. Tick fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vonstein has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Tick works the jab nicely. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Vonstein crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tick - the referee stops the clock and Vonstein gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tick. Vonstein manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Vonstein changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tick tries to avoid it but Vonstein manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tick to the ground. Tick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. The Tick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drako Vonstein. Tick feints a jab promting Vonstein to slip. Tick then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Vonstein slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Tick feints and then cracks Vonstein's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vonstein down. Tick lands with a right hand. Tick scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Vonstein has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tick. The Tick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Tick throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Tick lands with a kick to the temple. Vonstein shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
 Vonstein is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vonstein takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Vonstein's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Tick fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Tick fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vonstein has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Tick connects with a solid leg kick. Vonstein ducks right into an uppercut from Tick. Vonstein gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Vonstein takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Vonstein misses with a takedown attempt - Tick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vonstein has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tick. Tick lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Tick scores with a leg kick.
Vonstein takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Tick dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vonstein. That did some damage! Vonstein takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That kick from Tick tenderised Vonstein's leg. Vonstein is trying to keep his angry face on. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tick connects with an inside leg kick. Tick scores with a leg kick.

Vonstein looks for a takedown but Tick sprawls well. Vonstein takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Tick stalks Vonstein and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vonstein's face. Vonstein staggers backwards, shaken. A bone on bone clash there as Vonstein blocks the leg kick.
Vonstein tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vonstein somewhat. Vonstein is breathing heavily. Tick throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Vonstein.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tick dips to his left and cracks Vonstein with an uppercut! Vonstein is trying desperately to land a takedown but Tick is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Vonstein. Tick connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Tick lands with a thumping leg kick.
Tick throws a leg kick but Vonstein moved away. Tick goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Vonstein closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tick circles away. The Tick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drako Vonstein. Tick lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Tick misses with the combination.

Tick stalks Vonstein and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vonstein's face. Vonstein staggers backwards, shaken. Nice body punch from Tick. Vonstein changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tick looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Vonstein remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Vonstein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Vonstein throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lokki motions for Bistro to come forward. Lokki throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. A head kick by Lokki misses
and Bistro counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bistro. Bistro can't break the clinch.

Bistro stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lokki. Samuel Lokki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bistro on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Lokki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bubba Bistro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lokki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bistro has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A slapping leg kick lands for Lokki.

Buzdovan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vonstein can do to turn this around? Vonstein has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Buzdovan. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Vonstein might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Buzdovan has got the better of the exchanges. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Buzdovan throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Vonstein's head.
