Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Augusto Pires! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Stevenson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevenson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Pires counters with a straight right hand. Stevenson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Stevenson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stevenson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Pires backs up against the cage.
 It looks like Augusto Pires has been cut. Pires swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pires throws a combination. Stevenson tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Stevenson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pires counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A head kick from Stevenson lands but Pires takes it in his stride. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pires feints a jab promting Stevenson to slip. Pires then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stevenson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Stevenson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pires, as that shot connected.
Pires works over Stevenson's head and body with a nice combination. Pires fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stevenson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Pires scores with a jab. Stevenson thuds his right hand into Pires's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Pires scores with a nice right hand.
Stevenson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Stevenson lands with a nice body kick. Stevenson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Josh Stevenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pires lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stevenson circles away quickly and effectively. Stevenson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Stevenson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Pires misses with the combination.
Stevenson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stevenson lands a big head kick that sends Pires tumbling to the mat! Stevenson takes a step backwards and waves Pires back to his feet - he wants the finish!
 Augusto Pires's cut is getting worse. Stevenson throws a head kick but Pires moves out of range.
Pires lands a lovely overhand right. Pires throws a right and a left that Stevenson avoids nicely. Stevenson connects with a looping right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pires throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stevenson counters with a nice uppercut.
 Pires is rocked! Pires misses with a few strikes there.
Pires lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Stevenson lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Pires can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Stevenson and Pires drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Stevenson.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! It's a brutal combination of punches from Gustavsson! Kozak is backing up but he can't get away as Gustavsson lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Kozak and ends the fight. Great knockout.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker gets caught napping as Puki dives in and scores a takedown. Parker manages to retain guard. Parker wants to stand but Puki is controlling the position. Puki tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard.
Puki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Parker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Puki, into his guard. Parker is looking to work some ground and pound but Puki has wrist control. Parker won't allow Puki to sweep him here. Puki being controlled here, momentarily.
Puki is looking for a triangle but Parker pushes his legs off easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Parker trying to control the position from guard on top but Puki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Puki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Parker defends it easily.
Puki working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Puki avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Parker throws a strike but Puki rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Puki drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Parker manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Puki has Parker in his guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Parker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Parker trying to control but Puki is working from the bottom. Parker throws and elbow that misses. Puki uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Parker's guard. Nice move by Puki! Puki won't allow Parker to sweep him here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Puki drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Parker dives on top into guard. Parker sitting in guard, not really doing much. Parker has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
 Rex Parker has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Parker connects with a nice looking jab.

Puki shoots in and gets a takedown into Parker's guard. Puki looks gassed!
Parker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Puki is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Parker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Parker has escaped and now he's on top! Parker throwing strikes but missing. Parker works a leg free and moves into half guard. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Rex Parker dominated that round. That's time! Parker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Parker lands a big shot that drops Puki! Can he finish him?
Parker trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Puki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Parker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Parker wants to control from the top but Puki keeps moving. Parker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Parker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Puki is proving hard to escape from. Puki is breathing heavily. Parker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Parker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Puki utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Puki shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Parker is trying to defend but Puki finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Parker is trying to stand.

Parker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Puki's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Puki's back! The referee is taking a good look at Puki as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Parker!
You can see the frustration on Puki's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Puki is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Parker just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Puki is trapped and Parker is scoring with shots to the head and body. Parker is landing with strikes from the back. Parker lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Parker gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Puki is still in real trouble! Can Parker finish him? Puki tries to escape the position.
Parker scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Puki is looking for a way out. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parker trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Puki doesn't escape. Puki seems to have recovered his senses. Puki prevents Parker from getting a body triangle.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker is punishing Puki with strikes - can he finish him?! Puki prevents Parker from getting a body triangle. Parker is riding his opponent, not letting Puki buck him off. Parker is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Puki up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Parker.
Parker is scoring with a succession of shots from the back. Puki is covering up - he's had enough and the ref steps in to end the fight!

Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Feelgood wriggles free and stands up. The fight stays on the outside here - Batungbakal looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Feelgood. Feelgood looks gassed! Batungbakal misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

And that's the end of the fight! Vernon Feelgood comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Feelgood has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gunn on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Gunn gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gunn shoots in looking for a takedown but Sfaryianakis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gunn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sfaryianakis throws a combination that misses
and Gunn counters with a shoot takedown. Sfaryianakis fights it but they end up in guard.
Gunn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gunn slips nicely into half guard.
Gunn maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sfaryianakis could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gunn has cracked it and Sfaryianakis is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gunn!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Ruiz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Szymanski counters with a single leg into guard. Ruiz didn't expect that. Ruiz controlling the position. Szymanski trying to control but Ruiz is working from the bottom. Szymanski wants to stand and escape but instead Ruiz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Szymanski has momentary wrist control but Ruiz slips an elbow through the middle. Ruiz trying to control but Szymanski is working from the bottom. Ruiz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Szymanski's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Szymanski wants to stand and escape but Ruiz is having none of it. Ruiz with a nice head shot there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ruiz throws and elbow that misses. Szymanski uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ruiz's guard. Nice move by Szymanski! Ruiz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Szymanski is looking to work some ground and pound but Ruiz has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ruiz holds on and takes a little breather. Szymanski wants to stand but Ruiz has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Szymanski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ruiz scores with a nice shot.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsumato avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kalib Koscheck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Matsumato gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Koscheck counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Matsumato is lucky that one didn't land flush. Koscheck moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Koscheck missing with a left hand there. Matsumato was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Matsumato with a lazy takedown attempt and Koscheck counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Koscheck gets in close and instigates a clinch. Matsumato blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Koscheck tries to clinch but Matsumato moves away and Matsumato counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Koscheck thinking. Koscheck throws a head kick that misses. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Koscheck.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Koscheck looks to land a right hand but Matsumato moved out of range. Koscheck fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Koscheck lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Matsumato shoots and misses and Koscheck counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kalib Koscheck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hiroko Matsumato. Matsumato with a lazy takedown attempt and Koscheck counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Matsumato nods at Koscheck to acknowledge the strikes. Koscheck throws a nice outside leg kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. That kick from Koscheck tenderised Matsumato's leg. Matsumato is trying to keep his angry face on. Koscheck throws a jab but it's blocked by Matsumato.

Matsumato tries to keep at a distance but Koscheck has taken the fight into the clinch. Koscheck pushes Matsumato back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Koscheck breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Koscheck is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Koscheck scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Koscheck drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Matsumato doesn't succeed with the takedown and Matsumato takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Koscheck swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Matsumato gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Koscheck counters with a nice leg kick. Jab from Matsumato.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Matsumato misses with a leg kick and Koscheck counters with a stiff right hand.
Koscheck moves into the clinch. Koscheck lands with a light punch inside.
Matsumato gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Koscheck regains guard.

Matsumato is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Koscheck is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Koscheck has escaped and now he's on top! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Matsumato looking for a sweep. Not yet Matsumato, not yet. Matsumato thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koscheck is trying to get back to half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Matsumato wants to control but Koscheck is keeping him busy.
Matsumato swings around for an armbar but Koscheck sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Matsumato's guard.

Matsumato is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Koscheck has his hands clasped together but Matsumato extends an breaks Koscheck's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Matsumato.

and Lindquist counters with a leg kick. A cross from Lindquist lands.
 It looks like Happy Flowers has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Flowers takes one to the side of the head.
Lindquist connects with a right that clearly hurt Flowers. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Lindquist proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Flowers collapses and taps out under the pressure!
