I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vladimir Goryachev was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Goryachev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Goryachev wants it to stay on the feet.

and Goryachev counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Goryachev fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Caraan checks it well.

Caraan is looking for a kimura but Goryachev is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Caraan to get the leverage.

Martyn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Martyn has managed to get both his arms back between Diaz's legs - danger averted.

Well Martyn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
