Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Bob Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myron Obusan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Silva counters with a nice low kick that buckles Obusan's knee momentarily.

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Silva is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Obusan is surviving well by controlling Silva's body position as best he can.

Silva wants to finish this one by submission but Obusan is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Silva.
Silva tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Silva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Obusan for as long as he can get away with.

Obusan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Obusan can't keep his opponent in guard - Silva advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Silva is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Obusan still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Obusan has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Obusan wants to stand up but Silva manages to regain full guard.

Silva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Silva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Obusan. That did some damage!
