The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker misses with a takedown
and Gunderson counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Baker with a poor takedown
and Gunderson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Baker's knee momentarily.
Gunderson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Baker's head backwards.
Gunderson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baker momentarily.
Baker walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gunderson.
Gunderson lunges at Baker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Baker's hand.

It looks like Bryan Baker has been cut.
Baker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Gunderson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Baker backs up against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Gunderson counters with a good low kick that Baker was not able to check.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baker is breathing heavily.
Gunderson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gunderson.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gunderson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Gunderson.
Gunderson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Baker.

Gunderson lands a left and a right that send Baker crashing to the mat, dazed. Gunderson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Bryan Baker's cut is getting worse.
Gunderson is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Baker like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Baker from another fist facial!

Piotrowski with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Frazier to score with a decent uppercut.
