The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trezeguet moves forwards but Turchin connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Turchin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Turchin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trezeguet's waist but Trezeguet gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turchin off to one side.

Turchin has Trezeguet up against the ropes in a clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rojas misses with a takedown attempt
and Egov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rojas lands a jab to Egov's midsection.

Rojas scores a takedown into full mount!
Egov holds on for dear life, controlling Rojas's posture momentarily.
Egov tries to hold on but Rojas postures up.
Egov keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Egov wants to control but Rojas is having none of it.
Egov can't escape the position.

Egov regains half guard.
Egov preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Egov gets full guard.
Egov keeping full guard, as Rojas tries to pass.
Egov pulls Rojas in close to his closed guard and prevents Rojas from doing any damage or advancing position.
Rojas looking to sit in guard and control but Egov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rojas can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Egov controls the pace.

Rojas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Egov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Egov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Egov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Egov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Egov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Egov pushing down on Rojas's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Rojas trying to hold on to Egov's head to control him but Egov postures up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Rojas looks gassed!
Egov frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rojas keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Ovale controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Colombo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Colombo tries for a takedown but Ovale circles away easily

and Ovale counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Colombo wants to control but Ovale is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Colombo is looking to improve his position.
Colombo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ovale wants to pass the guard but Colombo is defending well.
Ovale working Colombo over with strikes.

Ovale is taking a breather. Colombo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
It looks like Ovale might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Colombo is trying to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ovale tries to land a front kick but Colombo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Ovale counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ovale.

Ovale drags the fight down to the ground.
Colombo works over Ovale with some ground and pound from guard.

Ovale working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Colombo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ovale is tightening it up a little... Colombo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Colombo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Colombo taps out! nice BJJ there by Ovale!
