Johns comes into the arena with By the Sword - Slash blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Steve Rogers was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johns digs a good hook to Rogers's body.
Johns throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rogers. Rogers closes the distance and clinches. Johns pushes off an throws an elbow but Rogers leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Johns lands a nice uppercut. A short right from Johns. Johns lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Rogers misses with the head strike.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Late misses with a series of wild punches.
Silvizzle closes the distance looking to clinch and Late makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Late looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silvizzle is fending him off so far but Late persists. Nope, Silvizzle circles away and we're back to standing. Late scores with a three punch combo!

Late leaves Silvizzle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Late lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Silvizzle at a distance.
Anderson Silvizzle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silvizzle looks gassed!

Choco Late has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anderson Silvizzle. Late fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Late moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Late!
Late feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Silvizzles jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Late works the jab nicely. Late throws a right and a left that Silvizzle avoids nicely. Late throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Late lands a jab-cross combination. Late takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Late throws a chopping leg kick but Silvizzle manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Late works Silvizzle's body with a nice hook. Late is working the combinations to good effect here. Late tries to bum rush Silvizzle with a series of wild strikes but Silvizzle uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silvizzle throws a sloppy head kick and Late counters with a series of strikes. Silvizzle will be more careful next time no doubt. Late moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Late is looking to wear down Silvizzle with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Late lands with a thumping leg kick.

Late goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Late lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Silvizzle has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Silvizzle and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Silvizzle shoots in for a takedown but Late shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Late dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Late throws a head kick but Silvizzle moves out of range.
Late connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silvizzle's hands. Late comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Late looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Silvizzle tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Late counter with a right hand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Silvizzle darts in trying to clinch and Late makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Choco Late dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Silvizzle fails with the takedown and Late counters with a nice uppercut. Late lands a nice shot to the body.
Silvizzle on the wrong end of a nice jab. Late cracks a nice hook into Silvizzle's ribs. Late is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Silvizzle walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Late looks to land a combination but Silvizzle avoids it well. Choco Late is winning the standup battle so far. Silvizzle closes the distance but Late moves to the side and Late counters with a nice low kick that buckles Silvizzle's knee momentarily. Late is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Silvizzle can do to turn this around? Late scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Silvizzle tries to move into range but Late moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Silvizzle might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Late has got the better of the exchanges. Silvizzle is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Late lands with a nice combination. Silvizzle backs away looking to recover. The fighters circle, before Late throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Silvizzle's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Late lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colozo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Colozo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Colozo's guard. Johnson content to stall in guard here. Johnson wants to control from the top but Colozo keeps moving. Johnson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Colozo is keeping the position for now. Johnson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Colozo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johnson throwing strikes but missing. Colozo keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Johnson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Johnson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Colozo screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Johnson! Nice submission victory there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whip scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Whip wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jamison keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whip tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Whip wants to control but Jamison is keeping him busy. Whip looking to control but instead Jamison has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Whip works his way into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Whip swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Jamison is now in Whip's guard. A big mistake from Whip there, giving up the dominant position! Whip is looking to stand up but Jamison isn't so interested in that idea. Jamison throws and elbow that misses. Whip uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jamison's guard. Nice move by Whip! Jamison avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Whip wants to control from the top but Jamison keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Whip drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jamison manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Whip has Jamison in his guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jamison throws a big right hand that misses. Jamison lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Whip is trying to keep Jamison in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Whip throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Jamison throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Whip works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Whip is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jamison landing with the ground and pound. Whip working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jamison. Whip preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Whip will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jamison throws a strike but Whip rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Whip trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Whip in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Whip thows a big elbow that misses. Jamison preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Whip gets to his feet - Jamison follows without any prompting. Whip with a poor takedown letting Jamison counter with a right hand.
It looks like Waldo Whip has been cut. Jamison keeps the fight on the outside. Whip takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Whip is breathing heavily. Jamison shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Whip defends it nicely. Nice body punch from Jamison. Jamison lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Whip at a distance.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jamison works the jab nicely. Oh, that's a big right hand from Jamison and Whip goes tumbling to the canvas! Jamison follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Whip is rocked! Jamison lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Oh Whip is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jamison landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mack Jamison dominated that round. The cut man is working on Waldo Whip's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Whip counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jamison won't be happy with that. Whip stands up and beckons Jamison to his feet. Jamison throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Whip counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Whip drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Whip jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Whip trying to control the position from guard on top but Jamison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jamison is working an open guard so Whip takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mack Jamison seems to be getting the better of the standup. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jamison connects with a nice looking jab.

That's one minute gone in the round. Whip throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jamison's waist but Jamison gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Whip off to one side. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Whip tries to close the distance and clinch but Jamison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Whip catches Jamison with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Jamison misses with a wild combination.
Jamison throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jamison throws a combination that misses and Whip counters by clinching up. Whip is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Whip takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Jamison breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jamison fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Jamison throws a jab but it's blocked by Whip. Jamison shoots in but Whip avoids the takedown attempt easily. Whip lands a slapping body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whip moves in looking to clinch but Jamison pushes him off. Whip lands with a cross. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Whip gets the takedown into side control. An elbow from Whip crashes against the mat.
Whip has hold of Jamison's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jamison tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Whip cranks the arm and Jamison screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jamison, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neckpunch misses the shot to the body. Luongo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Neckpunch throws out the jab. Luongo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Neckpunch to counter with a crisp jab.

Neckpunch gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Luongo to score an easy takedown into full guard. Luongo wants to control from the top but Neckpunch keeps moving. 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gerry Kelly! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelly misses with a left hand and Hoiles counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Gerry Kelly has been cut. Hoiles connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kelly. Kelly circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Hoiles scores with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hoiles throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hoiles dips to his left and cracks Kelly with an uppercut! Hoiles gets caught flat footed, as Kelly shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kelly tries to free his leg and advance position but Hoiles is retaining full guard. Kelly cracks Hoiles with a solid left hand. Kelly passes Hoiles's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hoiles wants to improve his position but Kelly is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoiles is working hard here to advance position. Hoiles has hold of Kelly's hands but Kelly slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Hoiles is in trouble now - Kelly has advanced to mount! Kelly is landing with some decent strikes but Hoiles is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kelly tries to push Hoiles's head away but Hoiles is holding on tight. Kelly lands a big shot there that rocks Hoiles but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Kelly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hoiles in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kelly lands a big shot there that rocks Hoiles but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Kelly is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hoiles is forced to tap! Great finish!
