Buddin tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kaplan is in Buddin's guard. Buddin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jarmo Laukkanen. Ward throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Laukkanen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ward wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Ward misses with a hook. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ancheta misses with a takedown and Albini counters with a nice uppercut. Ancheta misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bengar scores with a kick to the midsection. Tancev with a lazy takedown attempt and Bengar counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Tancev with a lazy takedown attempt and Bengar makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Tancev really felt that one! Tancev gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bengar counters with a body kick. Vengar Bengar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nemanja Tancev. A solid leg kick lands there for Bengar.
Bengar goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Bengar lands a nice looking body kick. Tancev closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tancev lands in his opponent's guard. Tancev tries to free his leg and advance position but Bengar is retaining full guard.

Tancev wants to pass the guard but Bengar is keeping the position. Tancev in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bengar working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tancev. Tancev has gone for a leg lock! Bengar slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tancev's guard. Tancev looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Tancev working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bengar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bengar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bengar has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Bengar is fighting to break Tancev's control of his arms but Tancev is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Tancev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bengar defends it easily. Tancev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bengar's guard. Tancev thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Tancev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Tancev has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Bengar. Tancev tries for a takedown but Bengar circles away easily and Bengar counters with a nice body kick. Vengar Bengar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nemanja Tancev. A good leg kick by Bengar. Bengar misses with an attempted mid kick.

Bengar lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Bengar throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Bengar turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Bengar throws a push kick but Tancev slaps the foot to one side. Bengar throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Nice body kick there by Bengar. Bengar throws a push kick but Tancev slaps the foot to one side. Tancev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bengar tries to avoid it but Tancev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bengar to the ground. Bengar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tancev doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bengar counters with a thumping low kick. Bengar lands a leg kick that knocks Tancev off balance momentarily. Bengar throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Tancev sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Bengar lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tancev's sensitive parts. Bengar lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tancev takes a step back to recover. Bengar tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tancev has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bengar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bengar buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tancev scores with a takedown into Bengar's guard. Tancev controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
And that's the end of the fight! Vengar Bengar showed his dominance in that final round. I think Tancev has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
