Undercard bout

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Carolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Musky Chunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carolla might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gotta Get It On from Taboo 2. Chunder has chosen Slam as his entrance music. The key to victory for Adam Carolla has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carolla misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Chunder to counter with a crisp jab.
Carolla throws a poor cross that misses
and Chunder cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chunder shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carolla but Carolla pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Carolla works over Chunder's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Musky Chunder has been cut.

Chunder tries to keep at a distance but Carolla has taken the fight into the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chunder keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Carolla's efforts to push away.

Chunder lands a nice elbow.

It looks like Adam Carolla has been cut.

Chunder has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Carolla clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Chunder goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Carolla has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Chunder but great work by Carolla.

Carolla stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Chunder to get to his feet.
Chunder does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Chunder fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Carolla avoids it really well and circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Carolla crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chunder - the referee stops the clock and Carolla gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chunder. Carolla manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
