The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winchester throws a series of punches but Stapleton moves out of range.
Stapleton shoots for a double leg takedown but Winchester sprawls well. He's pushed Stapleton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hall tries to circle away but Shride has him pinned against the cage.
Shride is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hall is keeping busy.
Shride makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Shride wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Shride lands a nice uppercut.
Shride throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Halls head.
Hall can't get the takedown.
Shride jumps guard but Hall stands there with Shride around his waist. Shride gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Shride breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Shride's waist but Shride gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hall off to one side.
Shride cracks Hall on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Hall falls backwards against the cage. Shride follows up with more strikes that drop Hall to his knees. Shride keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Hall! This one is all over!

carlson is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Baby hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sean finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head.
Sean avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sean moves away.
Sean paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sean.
Sean avoids the body shot from Jones.

Sean moves into range and clinches up with Jones.

Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sean tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Sean.
Sean takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sean thuds a left hand into Jones's body.
Sean swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones misses with a hook to the body

and Sean counters by clinching up.
Sean prevents Jones from breaking the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Jones counters with a crisp one two that drops Sean! Jones thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Sean to his feet! Sean is in big trouble!

Sean tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.

and Sean takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sean is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Jones takes a swing at Sean's ribcage but misses.
Sean seems to have recovered his senses.
Sean misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones lands with a right and another and another! Sean is in big trouble! Jones lands again and this time it's lights out for Sean! A quality knockout there for Jones.
