No joy there for Retso, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Retso throws a series of punches but Maddox moves out of range.

Retso shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Maddox manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Maddox looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Retso has picked Maddox up and slammed him! Maddox can't keep hold of the triangle and Retso manages to pass to side control!
Retso lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Maddox down.
