Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mifune has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mifune and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kyuzo Mifune.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honda blocks a head kick by Bola.
Bola closes the distance and clinches up with Honda, looking for a takedown. Bola pushes Honda against the cage but Honda circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bola looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Honda throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bola on the side of the head.

It looks like Junior Bola has been cut.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Honda changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bola looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Honda working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Honda wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bola, who protects the arm well.
Honda throws a strike aimed at the side of Bola's head but Bola avoids it well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bola tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Honda wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Honda is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bola is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bola tries to buck Honda off but Honda is having none of it.

Tadakatsu Honda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Bola.

Honda decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bola, up you get!

Honda bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Honda tries for a kimura but Bola is defending well.
Bola is letting Honda control him for a moment.
Honda works to advance to full mount. Bola defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Bola manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Honda seems to be working for a kimura but Bola defends the submission attempt.
Bola is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Honda's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Honda's back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Honda trying to control the hands but Bola breaks the grip.

Honda manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bola's guard. Nice work there by Honda.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bola is on top in guard.
Honda utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bola tries to free his leg and advance position but Honda is retaining full guard.

Bola is posturing up here but Honda has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bola tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bola has to tap! Slick submission there by Honda!

Miller drops Undisputed with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Undisputed looks back up at him and smiles so Miller waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like The Undisputed has been cut.

Miller creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Undisputed's defenses.

Undisputed throws a series of punches but Miller avoids them all with ease.

Miller drops Undisputed with a beautiful combination! Undisputed stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Miller is looking for the KO!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Undisputed seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Miller shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Undisputed is backing up but Miller catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Undisputed covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Miller Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
