Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Ive Nackershort!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Parker Smith!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nackershort swivels and escapes.
Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nackershort bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smith's head backwards.
Smith takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Smith on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Nackershort connects with the punch.

It looks like Parker Smith has been cut.
Nackershort moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Smith looks gassed!
Nackershort lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Good exchange - Nackershort coming out on top.
Nackershort paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nackershort throws out a powerful jab.
Nackershort scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nackershort tests Smith's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Smith takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nackershort's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Nackershort duly obliges.
Smith tries to move into range but Nackershort moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Nackershort connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

That has opened up Parker Smith's cut even more.
Smith takes one to the side of the head.
Nackershort lands a head shot.
Nackershort lands a two punch combo.
Smith takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nackershort throws a series of strikes that have Smith backpedaling.
Nackershort lands a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nackershort lunges at Smith with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Smith's hand.
Nackershort throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Smith's head.
Nackershort comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Donk. Nackershort catches Smith right on the button with a cross.
Nackershort scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Nackershort bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smith's head backwards.

The cut above Parker Smith's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Nackershort lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Smith backs up against the cage.
Smith tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Nackershort paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nackershort chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Smith takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Smith takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A head kick from Nackershort lands but Smith takes it in his stride.
Smith blocks a head kick by Nackershort.
Nackershort sizes up Smith with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Parker Smith's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Smith has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Smith blocks a head kick by Nackershort.
Smith takes one to the chin there.
Nackershort misses with a head kick.
Nackershort lands with a kick to the temple. Smith shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Smith shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nackershort lands a jab-cross combination.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Parker Smith's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ive Nackershort!
Ive Nackershort retains his light heavyweight title!
