The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes is looking to clinch.
Gomes throws a looping overhand right but Bach ducks down to avoid it.
Gomes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bach swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gomes misses with a double jab.
Matheus Gomes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gomes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bach scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gomes tries to bum rush Bach with a series of wild strikes but Bach uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gomes tries to clinch there but Bach circles away.
Gomes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bach moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bach has a takedown stuffed.

Bach shoots in looking for a takedown. Gomes tries to sprawl out of it but Bach keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gomes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bach lands a nice shot to the head.
Bach takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bach cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bach has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Gomes is forced to tap!

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Rekker jumps guard and drags Draven to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Draven wants to control from the top but Rekker keeps moving.
Rekker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Draven!
