Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Whitely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hernandez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lose Yoursellf. On his way into the cage it seems that Miguel Hernandez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Miguel Hernandez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mexicano shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Godlewski sprawls well. Godlewski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mexicano gets slowly back to his feet.
Mexicano looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Godlewski is fending him off so far but Mexicano persists. Nope, Godlewski circles away and we're back to standing.
Mexicano is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Godlewski throws the kick towards the body but Mexicano avoids it.

Godlewski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mexicano pulls his head out easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mexicano shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mexicano was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Juanie Mexicano overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Mexicano throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Godlewski escapes and throws Mexicano's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Godlewski takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Juanie Mexicano will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Godlewski lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Godlewski has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mexicano has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Mexicano shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Godlewski's guard.

The fight stays on the outside here - Godlewski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
