I think Emo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Brotha Lynch Hung & MC Eiht - You Don't Know Who I Know. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emo fails to land the takedown. A combination from Emo does no damage. Smith tries to clinch up but Emo circles away and keeps his distance. Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
No joy there for Smith, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Emo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith. Smith looks to land a combination but Emo avoids it well. Smith throws a hook to the side of Emo's head but Emo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Emo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt and Emo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Smith tries to close the distance and clinch up but Emo swats him away and circles back towards the center. A clash of legs there as Emo blocks the low kick. Emo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Emo goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Smith rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Emo's guard! Nice work there by Smith! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smith stopping the sweep attempt from Emo. Smith wants to sweep here but Emo controlling him for the moment. Smith is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Emo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smith. Emo cracks Smith with a right hand to the side of the head. Emo slips under a jab. A punch lands to the side of Smith 's head but he takes it in his stride. Mollenhauer pushes Willwerth against the cage but Willwerth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Willwerth misses with a wild combination.

Mollenhauer is trying desperately to land a takedown but Willwerth is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mollenhauer. Jab, jab by Willwerth - just one landing. Willwerth connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Mollenhauer! He's out on his feet! Willwerth rushes in and drops Mollenhauer with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Cunnings sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Saakuuraabaa shoots in for a takedown but Cunnings shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. He's got his arms around Cunnings's waist but Cunnings gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Saakuuraabaa off to one side. Saakuuraabaa shoots in but Cunnings avoids the takedown attempt easily. Cunnings tries to clinch there but Saakuuraabaa circles away.

Cunnings is looking to clinch. A jab from Cunnings does it's job there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saakuuraabaa leaves his chin hanging out and Cunnings seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Saakuuraabaa crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Krukiov with that takedown attempt. Mussolini throws a head kick that misses. Krukiov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mussolini circles away. Vlad Krukiov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krukiov tries for a takedown but Mussolini sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. San Lucas Mussolini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Krukiov. Krukiov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Krukiov. Krukiov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mussolini swivels and escapes. That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Krukiov lands a couple of decent looking shots. Krukiov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mussolini looking to hit a scissor sweep but Krukiov is one step ahead there. Mussolini is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Krukiov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mussolini swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mussolini keeping moving, preventing Krukiov from controlling successfully. Mussolini is looking to sweep but instead, Krukiov has passed into half guard.
Mussolini knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krukiov on the ground. Krukiov not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Krukiov connects with a nice short shot to Mussolini's temple. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Staal throws out a loose jab but Black uses good head movement to avoid it. Staal dodges the punch combination from Black.

Staal misses with a straight left. Nice defenses there by Staal. Black throws a nice looking combination but Staal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Black throws a hook but Staal blocks it. Staal pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Black is keeping the position for now. Staal looking to sit in guard and control but Black gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Staal controls Black momentarily but Black frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
