Smith throws a lazy right hand but Cardy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Smith gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cardy to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Cardy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Smith manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cardy has Smith in his guard.
Cardy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Smith manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cardy manages to get himself to full guard.

Cardy steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Smith. That one must have hurt.
