Pretti lands a left and a right that sends Hernandez crashing to the canvas! Pretti dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Sandro Hernandez has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pretti stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Oh Hernandez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pretti misses with a double jab.
Pretti throws a right hand that Hernandez ducks under and follows up with a left that Hernandez also avoids with ease.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Andereson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lee regains half guard there - taking advantage of Andereson's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Andereson is working for a submission of some sort.

Lee looking for submissions off his back.

Lee tries to roll over but Andereson keeps him under control.
Andereson is just content to waste time from the top position. Lee takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Lee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Andereson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lee lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Andereson is concentrating on defense, preventing Lee from advancing position.

That's time! Andereson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Andereson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Andereson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lee has his feet on Andereson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Haoa Andereson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Andereson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lee napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Andereson swings around for an armbar but Lee sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Andereson's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lee scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Andereson wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee slips an arm under Andereson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lee has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lee is squeezing on Andereson like an anaconda would it's prey. Andereson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Balkan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Balkan moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Bee Jayjay has been cut.
A punch combination from Balkan misses.
Balkan keeps the fight on the outside.
Balkan looks to clinch

and Jayjay counters by clinching up.
Balkan tries a knee to the head but Jayjay blocks it.
Balkan tries to land knees in the clinch but Jayjay avoids the damage to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Balkan.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Balkan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jayjay jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Balkan walks away with a smile on his face. Jayjay gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Balkan connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Jayjay tumbling to the canvas! Balkan pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Jayjay was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Boris Balkan!
