The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fertit looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Maximus is fending him off so far but Fertit persists. Nope, Maximus circles away and we're back to standing.

Fertit throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Maximus was covering up waiting for the punch and Fertit finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Fertit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maximus swivels though and keeps the full guard.
