Marcurius drives through and clinches with Daud against the ropes.
Daud tries to pull guard but Marcurius won't allow it.
Daud can't break the clinch.
Daud takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Ahmad Daud has been cut.

Marcurius drops down looking for an ankle pick but Daud pulls his leg out and moves away.

Marcurius had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Daud is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Marcurius Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Daud's back instead.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Marcurius is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Daud knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Daud for a finish.

Marcurius has got his arm under Daud's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Daud has spun round into Marcurius's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Marcurius thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Marcurius working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daud doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daud manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Daud counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Ahmad Daud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Gabriel Marcurius.

Daud lands a couple of digs.
Marcurius escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Daud gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Marcurius manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That was a close round but I would say that Ahmad Daud will probably get the nod.

and Daud counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Daud distracts Marcurius with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Blubber looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Tree shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tree showed some decent athleticism there.
Tree slips a nice elbow through Blubber's hands, connecting with Blubber's forehead.
Tree is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Blubber turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Tree off and cradles Blubber's limp body as Tree celebrates with his corner.
