Gandhi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Newton has picked Gandhi up and slammed him! Gandhi can't keep hold of the triangle and Newton manages to pass to side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Newton is really struggling to control Gandhi but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Gandhi tries to lock up and control but Newton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gandhi wants to hold on but Newton pushes him away.
Newton looking to control but Gandhi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thales Moreno!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreno misses the shot to the body.
Moreno throws a sloppy head kick and Balde moves out of range easily.
A combination from Balde does no damage.
Moreno throws a hook but Balde avoids it easily.
Balde blocks the body kick.
Nice body punch from Balde.
Moreno throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Moreno shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Thales Moreno has been cut.
Balde lands with an uppercut that bounces Moreno off the ropes and back into rage.
A swing and a miss from Balde.
Moreno scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A punch combination from Moreno misses.
Moreno misses with a straight left.
Balde throws a nice looking combination but Moreno bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Moreno throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Moreno is countered with a crisp right hand from Balde that sends him to the canvas! Balde follows him to the mat into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Balde decides to stand back up. Balde steps back and let's Moreno get back to his feet.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Balde! Moreno is backing up but he can't get away as Balde lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Moreno and ends the fight. Great knockout.
