The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close second round but I would say that Maik Masiina will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Maik Masiina.

Aromaa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but KO circles away quickly and effectively.
Aromaa lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Aromaa.
KO throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
KO tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Aromaa paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Curtis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Run to the Hills. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that luciano tiririca was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

tiririca is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ken Curtis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Curtis stalks tiririca and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into tiririca's face. tiririca staggers backwards, shaken.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

White connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Perse tumbling to the canvas! White pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Perse was done - good stoppage!
