The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abaddon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has BanannaSlice pinned against the cage. BanannaSlice gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Abaddon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from BanannaSlice.
Abaddon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A jab from BanannaSlice finds it's way through Abaddon's defenses.

It looks like Tchort Abaddon has been cut.
BanannaSlice rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Abaddon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kimbo BanannaSlice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

BanannaSlice darts in and clinches Abaddon up against the cage.
Abaddon scores with a shoulder strike.
BanannaSlice lands a knee to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
BanannaSlice lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

BanannaSlice shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Abaddon takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - BanannaSlice sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Abaddon bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron misses with a low kick.
JROK looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
No joy there for Iron, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
JROK looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Iron is fending him off so far but JROK persists. Nope, Iron circles away and we're back to standing.
Iron tries to clinch up but JROK circles away and keeps his distance.
Iron gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and JROK counters with a big head kick but Iron shrugs it off.
JROK stuffs the takedown attempt from Iron. Iron gets slowly back to his feet.
Iron shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and JROK counters with a low kick, right behind Iron 's knee.
Jacob JROK has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Iron.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and JROK counters with a single leg into guard. Iron didn't expect that.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Iron shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
JROK shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Iron as he jumps to the side.

Iron gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Iron drops to a knee looking for a takedown but JROK gets the underhooks and prevents it.
JROK jumps guard but Iron stands there with JROK around his waist. JROK gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

JROK closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Iron to the mat! Iron manages to get full guard.

JROK's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

JROK closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - JROK lands in his opponent's guard.
Iron tries to land a sweep but no joy.
JROK has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Iron is proving hard to escape from.

brown is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mexican Samurai has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mexican Samurai!

brown had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mexican Samurai is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. brown Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mexican Samurai's back instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
