Cartman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Cartman moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Alves fails with an attempt to clinch.
Alves scores with a hook to the body. Cartman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cartman throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Alves lands a jab to the head.
Alves looks for a takedown but Cartman sprawls well.

Alves drives through and clinches with Cartman against the cage.
Alves takes a knee right on the jaw!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McFly throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matters's waist but Matters gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McFly off to one side.
McFly takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Marty McFly has been cut.
McFly fails with a takedown attempt.
Matters dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McFly. That did some damage!
Matters throws a nice head kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matters drops McFly with a right and a left! Matters comes rushing in but McFly regains his composure and manages to keep Matters in guard.

McFly looks gassed!
Matters missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
McFly is still in real trouble! Can Matters finish him?

Matters drops back looking for a leg! McFly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McFly manages to kick Matters off! Matters jumps back into McFly's guard.
McFly seems to have recovered his senses.
McFly working a defensive guard but Matters passes into half guard.
Matters is looking to advance position but McFly won't allow it.
It looks like Matters is going to stand back up.
Matters throwing shots but McFly is blocking nicely.

McFly trying to control the action but Matters is working from the bottom.
Matters wants to control but McFly postures up.
Matters gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
McFly tries to control but Matters wriggling away.
McFly prevents Matters from getting the reversal.
McFly unloading with bombs!

Matters tries to lock up and control but McFly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Matters is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

McFly working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Matters turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McFly off and cradles Matters's limp body as McFly celebrates with his corner.
