Powers looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well.
Stone keeps the fight on the outside.

Stone throws a right and a left that Powers avoids nicely.
Stone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Powers to the mat! Powers manages to get full guard.
Powers utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Stone wants to pass the guard but Powers is keeping the position.

Stone works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Stone had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Powers is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Stone Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Powers's back instead.

Powers manages to reverse the position and now he's in Stone's guard. Nice work there by Powers.

so Powers counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fatsack feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ruanti is on top in guard.
Ruanti decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Fatsack throws a series of punches but Ruanti avoids them all with ease.
