Herugrim lunges at Dawson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Dawson's hand.

Opferstock decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Dallas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Opferstock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Opferstock seems to be working for a kimura but Dallas defends the submission attempt.
Opferstock wants to take a breather but Dallas is having none of it.
Opferstock is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Dallas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Opferstock is working away from the top position though.

White throws a hook to the side of Burns's head but Burns sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Burns takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
White throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

White lands with a cross.
White stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Burns.
Burns misses with a low kick as White jumps back.
White looks for the body kick but Burns saw that one coming.
White lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Burns closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
White bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Burns's head backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gene White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burns tries a head kick but it misses.
White tries to bum rush Burns with a series of wild strikes but Burns uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

White throws a shot from downtown. Burns moves away and avoids it.
Burns moves out of range as White strikes.

White tries to clinch but Burns is having none of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Gene White.
