The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steak stuffs the takedown.
Dreamie shoots for a double leg takedown but Steak sprawls well. He's pushed Dreamie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dreamie misses with a takedown attempt - Steak sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chuck Steak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Dreamie.
Steak fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Dreamie on the side of the head.

It looks like Rick Dreamie has been cut.
Steak throws a head kick that misses.
Dreamie tries for a takedown but Steak sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dreamie tries to clinch but Steak moves out of range.

Steak cracks Dreamie with an uppercut from hell and Dreamie crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Steak's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dreamie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Steak's waist but Steak gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dreamie off to one side.

Steak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Steak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dreamie takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Dreamie shoots in but Steak avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Steak throws a head kick that misses.
Steak throws a head kick but Dreamie moves out of range.

Nice takedown defense from Steak. No joy for Dreamie on that attempt.

Steak lands with a slapping head kick.

That has opened up Rick Dreamie's cut even more.

Dreamie closes the distance and clinches up with Steak, looking for a takedown. Dreamie pushes Steak against the cage but Steak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Steak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dreamie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Dreamie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Steak is just riding it out for now. Dreamie eventually gives up the hold.

Dreamie sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
