The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ieyasu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ieyasu fails to land with a series of punches.
Konrad shoots in and drives through. Ieyasu sprawls well.
Konrad shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ieyasu as he jumps to the side.

Ieyasu rushes Konrad and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Konrad tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ieyasu smiles and moves away.
Tokugawa Ieyasu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Monty Konrad.
Konrad looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ieyasu is fending him off so far but Konrad persists. Nope, Ieyasu circles away and we're back to standing.
Ieyasu connects with a solid leg kick.

Konrad looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ieyasu has picked Konrad up and slammed him! Konrad can't keep hold of the triangle and Ieyasu manages to pass to side control!

Konrad seems a little lost for a moment, as Ieyasu dominates the positioning.
