Pound closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pound works his foot free and advances to mount.
Pound has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Riley's face.
Pound lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Wood ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sheen moves away.
Wood lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Marcus Sheen has been cut.
Wood slips a jab and a cross from Sheen.
A telegraphed right hand from Wood misses the target.
Sheen avoids the head kick by Wood.
Sheen lands with a hook. Wood tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Sheen blocks a jab.
Sheen misses the jab.
Sheen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Sheen instigates a clinch.
Sheen is trying to break the clinch but Wood has him pressed against the cage.
Wood lands a body punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sheen looks gassed!
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wood.
A head punch on the inside from Wood fails to land.
Wood lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sheen backwards.
Wood doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Wood misses with a punch on the inside.
Sheen blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Wood throws a head punch that misses.
Wood misses with a punch on the inside.
Nice body punch from Wood.
Wood lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Wood pushes Sheen back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Wood prevents Sheen from breaking the clinch.
Wood throws a head punch that misses.
Wood scores with a shoulder strike.

Sheen gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Wood looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sheen is one step ahead there.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Wood manages to escape and get back to his feet.
George Wood is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sheen moves out of range as Wood throws a body kick.
Sheen throws a hook to the side of Wood's head but Wood sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wood lands a big uppercut and Sheen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sheen looks OK. Wood waves Sheen back to his feet!
Wood throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Sheen tumbling to the canvas!

Sheen is rocked!

That has opened up Marcus Sheen's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wood slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sheen is still in real trouble! Can Wood finish him?

Wood decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sheen, up you get!
Wood drops Sheen with a big left hand and mounts him. Sheen is in big trouble!
Oooh a big shot lands for Wood! Sheen is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
