Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harvey Dent! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pat Terrier! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terrier swinging wilding here.
Dent swats away the attempt to clinch by Terrier. Terrier shoots for a double leg takedown but Dent sprawls well. He's pushed Terrier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Dent closes the distance and clinches up with Terrier, looking for a takedown. Dent pushes Terrier against the cage but Terrier circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. No luck for Terrier with that takedown attempt. Terrier misses with a head kick.
Dent rushes Terrier and presses him up against the cage. Dent pushes Terrier back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Terrier has clasped his hands together around Dent's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Dent gets back to half guard. Dent is not content to let Terrier control the position. Dent tries to roll over but Terrier keeps him under control. Dent is trying to maintain the position but Terrier is very close to passing his half guard. Dent is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Terrier's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Terrier's back! Dent is hanging on to Terrier's back as he tries to escape.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Terrier breaks Dent's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Dent pushes Terrier off and scrambles back to his feet.
Terrier gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Dent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Harvey Dent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pat Terrier. Terrier looks gassed!
Dent drives through and clinches with Terrier against the cage.
Dent scores with a shot to the side of Terrier's head. Dent scores with an uppercut up the middle. Dent creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Terrier's defenses.
Dent has hold of one of Terrier's legs. Terrier is fighting the takedown attempt but Dent gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Dent stands and steps away. Terrier gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dent tries to clinch there but Terrier circles away.
Dent closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Dent lands a nice shot to the body.
Dent jumps guard and drags Terrier to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dent seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Dent pushes Terrier off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dent moves in looking to clinch but Terrier pushes him off.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Terrier shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dent but Dent pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dent has closed the distance and engaged Terrier in a clinch.

Dent wants to clinch. Terrier shoots in and drives through. Dent sprawls well. Dent stuffs the takedown attempt from Terrier. Terrier gets slowly back to his feet.

Dent jumps guard and drags Terrier to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dent is looking to stand up but Terrier isn't so interested in that idea.

Dent gets the takedown into side control. Dent avoids the strikes from the bottom by Terrier. Terrier tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Terrier is looking for a sweep. Dent controls the position from side control. Terrier is looking for a sweep.
Dent decides to stand back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Terrier throws a right and a left that both miss.
Dent feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dent showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Dent closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dent bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Dent decides to stand back up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Terrier looks to land a combination but Dent avoids it well.
Dent drives through and clinches with Terrier against the cage.
Dent unloads a knee to the mid-section. Terrier lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Dent breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Terrier throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harvey Dent dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dent lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Terrier misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fight stays on the outside here - Terrier looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Some wild striking there from Terrier.
Dent gets in close and instigates a clinch. Terrier wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Terrier prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dent lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Terrier backwards. Dent using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Terrier's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Dent lands a right hand that snaps the head of Terrier backwards. Dent prevents Terrier from breaking the clinch. Terrier is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dent is keeping busy. Dent lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Terrier takes an elbow to the forehead.

Dent manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Terrier manages to get himself to full guard.

and Dent counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Terrier! Dent controlling the pace for now. Dent's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

 The referee stands the fighters back up. Harvey Dent just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Terrier closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dent circles away. Dent clinches but Terrier breaks the clinch
and Terrier counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dent keeps control of the position for the meantime.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morales misses with the combination.
Leshley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morales's waist but Morales gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Leshley off to one side. Morales throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Morales throws a right and a left that Leshley avoids nicely. Ivan Morales seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morales throws a combination. Leshley tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Leshley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Morales sprawls well initially but Leshley persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Leshley not landing any meaningful shots this time. Leshley throwing shots but Morales is blocking nicely. Leshley lands strikes from half guard. Leshley with the ground and pound but Morales uses the opportunity to regain guard. Morales utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Leshley looking to sit in guard and control but Morales gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Leshley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Leshley pushes a forearm under Morales's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Morales is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lance Boyle! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and Steve Montenegro.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! toode shoots in but Boyle avoids the takedown attempt easily. Boyle fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boyle throws a push kick but toode slaps the foot to one side.
toode shoots in and bounces Boyle off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Boyle wants to get back to his feet but toode is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
toode has gone for a leg lock! Boyle slips out almost immediately though and dives into toode's guard. toode controls Boyle momentarily but Boyle frees himself. toode tries to land a sweep but no joy. Boyle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed toode's guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. toode is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. toode is working hard here to advance position. Boyle slips a nice elbow through toode's hands, connecting with toode's forehead. Boyle tries to stand but his arm is trapped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. toode pushes Boyle off looking to stand but Boyle dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boyle blocks the strikes from toode.
toode makes his way to full guard. A much better position for toode. toode looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boyle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boyle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks toode with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. toode wants to control but Boyle is keeping busy and won't allow it. Boyle lands strikes from half guard. toode misses with some strikes from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that eddie toode will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Lance Boyle. Well Boyle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Peterson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Peterson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Runnar Borowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curtis Peterson. A punch lands to the side of Peterson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Peterson looks to clinch and Borowski counters with a solid body kick. Curtis Peterson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Peterson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Borowski to the mat! Borowski manages to get full guard. Borowski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Borowski working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Peterson. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Borowski preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Runnar Borowski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Peterson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Borowski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Peterson, into his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Runnar Borowski. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Borowski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Hoos has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Funke has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hoos is breathing heavily. Funke tries to escape but Hoos has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Hoos is trying to stick to Funke's back but Funke is turning into Hoos. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hoos's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Funke. Funke landing with the ground and pound.
Funke decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Hoos swats away the attempt to clinch by Funke.

Hoos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Hoos trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hoos lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Funke is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Hoos wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Funke wants to hold on but Hoos pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tobias Funke dominated that round. That's time! Hoos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Funke feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Funke passes Hoos's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Funke is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hoos defends it well. Funke blocks the strikes from Hoos.
Funke perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hoos tries to roll over but Funke keeps him under control. Hoos wants to control but Funke is keeping busy.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Funke is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hoos is staying active. Hoos is pressing down on Funke's thigh, looking to free his foot. Funke is holding on for now.

Funke is trying to get back to full guard. Fat Hoos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hoos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Funke gets to his feet. Hoos looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hoos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hoos looking to pass the guard. Funke looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

 It looks like Jake Fauteux has been cut. Fauteux throws a lazy right hand but Greek sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice shot by Fauteux. Fauteux stuffs the takedown. Fauteux throws a big shot that misses. Greek avoids the body shot from Fauteux.

Greek is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Greek catches Fauteux with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Fauteux ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Greek moves away. Fauteux misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Greek thows a left - swing and a miss! Fauteux bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Greek throws a head kick that misses. Greek cracks Fauteux with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fauteux stuns Greek with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Greek punishes Fauteux's body with a nice straight punch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fauteux moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Fauteux lands a jab-cross combination. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Greek fails in his attempt to clinch. A decent looking cross lands there for Greek. Greek moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fauteux gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fauteux had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Greek is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fauteux Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Greek's back instead. Greek really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Fauteux's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
 The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Fauteux is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Greek is defending well though. Fauteux let's go of the attempt for now. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fauteux looking to hold on to the position here but Greek rolls and ends up regaining guard.
