The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ford on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ford wants to slow Egan down by chopping away at his legs.
Ford throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Some wild striking there from Egan.
Egan ducks under a wild hook from Ford.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Egan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Egan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Egan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sanderson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jew Jitsu to the mat! Jew Jitsu manages to get full guard.

Jew Jitsu has his foot on Sanderson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sanderson works his way back into a safe position though.
Sanderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jew Jitsu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jew Jitsu has an active guard here but Sanderson has managed to pass into half guard.
Sanderson is pressing down on Jew Jitsu 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jew Jitsu is holding on for now.

Neko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Law to the mat! Law manages to get full guard.

Maia is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Man is refusing to be controlled, as Maia sits in half guard.
Maia working over Man with some ground and pound. Man looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Man has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Maia is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
