Carano drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kjellstrom dives on top into guard.

Carano throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kjellstrom escapes and throws Carano's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Carano shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kjellstrom as he avoids it easily.
Kjellstrom cracks Carano with an uppercut from hell and Carano crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Kjellstrom's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

It looks like Gino Carano has been cut.

Kjellstrom postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Carano is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kjellstrom, into his guard.

Carano is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kjellstrom pulls his head out easily.
