Nice takedown defense from Drake. No joy for von Oden on that attempt.
von Oden tries to bum rush Drake with a series of wild strikes but Drake uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Look low, kick high! Drake uses the oldest trick in the book to send von Oden tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Drake is absolutely delighted - when von Oden wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

Ivan Drago told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago misses with a takedown attempt - Kharkov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kharkov swats away the attempt to clinch by Drago.

Drago closes the distance and clinches.
Kharkov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Drago avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Bino chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kovboev can pounce on him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kovboev! Bino is out on his feet! Kovboev rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Bino is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Bino is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
