The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Metis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Metis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wilson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Wilson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Metis trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom.
Metis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Wilson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Metis is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wilson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Metis's back instead.

Wilson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Metis has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
