0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Dundee! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dundee shoots in and bounces McCranky off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McCranky is controlling Dundee's posture. Dundee throws a big right hand that misses. Dundee trying to move into half guard but instead McCranky has managed to sweep! McCranky trying to control but Dundee is working from the bottom. Dundee trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. McCranky wants to control from the top but Dundee keeps moving. McCranky pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dundee is keeping the position for now. Dundee looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but McCranky puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Dundee wants to improve his position but McCranky is controlling well.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McCranky shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McCranky showed some decent athleticism there. Dundee tries to roll over but McCranky keeps him under control. Dundee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCranky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McCranky is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dundee! Dundee is looking to improve his position but McCranky isn't that keen on the idea. Dundee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. McCranky controlling from the full mount. Dundee has a hand on McCranky's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. McCranky takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! McCranky trying to control but Dundee is having none of it. Dundee is trying to stand but he's just given McCranky his back. McCranky really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Dundee. Dundee is trying to break free.

Dundee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dundee connects with a couple of short punches.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Dundee doesn't succeed with the takedown and McCranky counters with a nice double leg into guard. Dundee looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but McCranky puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Dundee is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute McCranky jumps into side control! Dundee is looking to regain half guard here but McCranky keeps moving and retains side control.

McCranky controls the action. I really don't envy Dundee right now.
McCranky looking to break Dundee's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Dundee remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise McCranky will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Dundee turns into McCranky and is now in his guard.

Dundee makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Dundee won't allow McCranky to sweep him here. McCranky looking to control and managing it successfully. Dundee tries to improve his position but instead McCranky has taken his back! Nick Dundee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dundee defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of McCranky's arms. McCranky is trying to stick to Dundee's back but Dundee is turning into McCranky. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in McCranky's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dundee. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dundee is looking to work some ground and pound but McCranky has wrist control. Dundee postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Fauteux throws a hook but Reimer blocks it. Reimer tries to clinch but Fauteux is having none of it. Fauteux looks to land a combination but Reimer avoids it well. Fauteux loads up on a big right hand but Reimer slips the punch. Nice shot by Reimer. Fauteux fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reimer sprawls well initially but Fauteux persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Fauteux is thwarting Reimer's attempts to control the position. Fauteux lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Reimer misses with a knee to the head. Reimer is leaning against Fauteux and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reimer lands with a nice body punch. Reimer ducks right into an uppercut from Fauteux. Fauteux misses with an uppercut. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fauteux changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Reimer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fauteux looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Fauteux is looking to take a break and control but Reimer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fauteux tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fauteux has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Reimer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fauteux off and has taken his back! Reimer is hanging on to Fauteux's back as he tries to escape.

Reimer throws a head kick that misses. Fauteux throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Groso wants to control from the top but Rogan keeps moving. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rogan is on top in guard.

Groso tries to free his leg and advance position but Rogan is retaining full guard. Kenan Groso overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Groso stands and throws Rogan's legs to the side, diving into side control. Groso wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rogan keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogan has control of an arm but Groso manages to advance to Groso's back! Groso throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Rogan!
Groso has the hooks in. Rogan is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Groso looking to soften up his opponent with punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mastafu pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Johnson tries for a takedown but Mastafu sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Johnson fails to land the takedown. Nice takedown defense from Mastafu. No joy for Johnson on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leo Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mastafu keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Mastafu connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mastafu misses with a low kick as Johnson jumps back. Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mastafu tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mastafu to the ground. Mastafu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Cobra misses its intended target. Blue avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cobra lands a nice shot to the body.
Cobra misses with an uppercut. Cobra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cobra throws a right and a left that Blue avoids nicely. Blue tries to clinch there but Cobra circles away.
Rocky Cobra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blue looks for a takedown but Cobra sprawls well. Cobra looks to score with a jab to the body but Blue is just out of range. Cobra swinging wilding here.
Cobra ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Cobra throws a body punch but Blue moves out of range.

Cobra throws a nice looking combination but Blue bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Cobra scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Blue doesn't seem bothered though. Cobra digs a good body shot into Blue's ribs. Blue looks gassed! Cobra misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cobra throws a low kick but it's checked well by Blue. Cobra is looking to wear down Blue with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Cobra getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Gunner Blue has been cut. Cobra lunges at Blue with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Blue's hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cobra misses with a two punch combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cobra looks for the body kick but Blue saw that one coming. Cobra fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cobra throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Blue on the side of the head. Blue slips a jab and a cross from Cobra.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cobra looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cobra tries to bum rush Blue with a series of wild strikes but Blue uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Blue closes the distance and clinches. Cobra breaks from the clinch.
Blue gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Cobra. Blue showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cobra.
The fighters circling - Cobra throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Blue misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cobra scores with a crisp jab that stopped Blue in his tracks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocky Cobra dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gunner Blue's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Blue tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cobra paws at him with a jab and circles away. Blue is looking to take this fight into the clinch. That's one minute gone in the round. Cobra pivots, looking for a leg kick but Blue is out of range and Cobra settles back down. Cobra lands the left hand. Cobra lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Blue is rocked! Blue is breathing heavily. A combination from Cobra does no damage. Rocky Cobra is winning the standup battle so far. A lazy left from Cobra finds it's target. Blue is still on wobbly legs! Can Cobra finish him? Cobra is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Blue can do to turn this around? Cobra connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Blue! He's out on his feet! Cobra rushes in and drops Blue with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
