 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rooney fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Darwin manages to avoid it. Darwin tries to clinch but Rooney is having none of it.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stones blocks a low kick nicely. Stones tries for a takedown but Ripper sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ripper throws a series of punches but Stones moves out of range. Ripper throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Stones gets the takedown into side control. Stones throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Ripper works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Stones wants to control but Ripper is keeping him busy. Stones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Stones trying to mount his opponent but Ripper defends it. Stones is trying to control the action in half guard but Ripper is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stones frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Stones with good strikes from the mount here! Ripper is wriggling around trying to escape.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ripper swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stones counters with a single leg into guard. Ripper didn't expect that.
Ripper is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stones is in close to Ripper's body, working some short punches and elbows. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Damien Stones will probably get the nod. That's time! Stones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stout throws a nice looking combination but Holm bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Holm shoots in but Stout avoids the takedown attempt easily. Stout scores with a shot to the body.
Holm should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Holm throws a head kick that misses. Stout lands the left hand. Stout fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Holm manages to avoid it. Stout takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Stout connects with a good right hand that stumbles Holm. Holm circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
 Holm is rocked! Holm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stout swivels and escapes. Holm is still on wobbly legs! Can Stout finish him? Holm shoots in and drives through. Stout sprawls well. Sam Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mats Holm. Stout will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Holm seems to have recovered his senses. Holm blocks a head kick by Stout.
Stout throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stout lands with a shot to the body.

Stout turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

He's almost out here... but no, Stout gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Holm looks gassed! Stout in side control, just content to control the action for now. Stout trying to control the action but Holm is working from the bottom.
Stout stands up and beckons Holm to his feet. Stout throws a head kick but Holm moves out of range.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Stout fails to land with a series of punches.

Holm shoots in looking for a takedown. Stout tries to sprawl out of it but Holm keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stout manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Holm.
Stout closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Stout decides to stand back up. Stout stalks Holm and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Holm's face. Holm staggers backwards, shaken. Stout throws a quick inside leg kick.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Stout lands with a thumping leg kick.
Stout throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Stout tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Holm throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. A decent looking cross lands there for Stout. Stout works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Holm shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stout's guard. Stout not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Stout being controlled here, momentarily. Stout really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Holm postures up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Stout is really struggling to control Holm but he's trying to hold on to the position. Holm stopping the sweep attempt from Stout. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holm seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Stout is controlling Holm's posture. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Holm is looking to stand up but Stout won't let him. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Holm wants to control the pace but Stout is squirming around nicely. Stout wants to hold on but Holm pushes him away. Stout really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Stout tries to lock up and control but Holm gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Stout gets back to half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Holm is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Holm throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Stout has a closed guard, preventing Holm from standing up.

Stout working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Holm doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Holm manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Holm trying to control but Stout is working from the bottom. Holm prevents Stout from getting back to his feet. Sam Stout overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stout wants to sweep but no luck. Stout looking to control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Plo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thorkildsen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Thorkildsen is looking to reverse the position. Plo working the ground and pound. Plo looks up at the clock and then as Thorkildsen takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Plo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Thorkildsen is not content to let Plo control the position. Thorkildsen tries to bench press Plo off him but Plo keeps the position. Plo throwing shots but missing, from side control. Plo wants to control but Thorkildsen is keeping him busy. Plo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
